Just heard about the truck in France looking at galleries here. I am tempted to say "That's what gun control will do for you". French have it, Belgians have it, etc. Lot of good it does. There is a madness loose in the world. If you believe Arnold Toynbee, it happens about every 80 years, or as Mark Twain said, "History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes". When ISIL attacked that religious sect I pronounced them evil on Facebook. Those people had lived peacefully under Islamic law for more than a thousand of years. The laws of Mohammed guaranteed them safety and freedom to practice their faith. ISIL demonstrated then that they had nothing to do with Islam or Mohammed and I knew they were evil. Evil catches human tinder on fire, and it burns with white heat for a season and then burns out. There are no simple solutions. There are stalwart solutions. Remain strong, do not become evil yourself, maintain your humanity. That does not mean turn the other cheek or refuse to fight back.
