Description

Bakken is an old farm where my great-great grandmother (and also knupps great-great grandmother) was born. Part of the "farmhouses" are from 1600 - and my great-great grandma was born in the "white" house. The brown house (to the left) had been moved from the farm where my great-great-great grandma was born. I have many nice things from this farm which my great-great grandma brought with her. I shot this picture with my zoom-lens (april the 19. 2009).

Lovely aerial shot! great historic place A friend of mine built a barn using the old construction methods no nails all wooden dowels and hemp and lime walls!

What a beautiful farm! And parts from the 1600's? Wow...It all looks so neat and well kept...and peaceful!! I love how it is nestled up to the small hill with the boulders and trees. A truly beautiful spot!
