Description

Took a break from my current hobby project and returned to one of my previous models, this Messerschmitt Me109. Tried a vintage, calm looking image instead of an action packed render. This image shows a Messerschmitt flown by a German pilot named Hans Ohly. Modo302 render. Model & textures available for download from my site. I hope you like it.

I always loved the Messerschmitt, ever since building the Airfix kit as a kid. Your model looks even more detailed than that Airfix kit (no bits that don't quite fit LOL)! I love the way the cable half way along the back is slightly bowed - just gives it that little extra touch of realism. Great texturing too. Beautiful render as well - the way the light is catching the fuselage is just sweet.

Excellent model, only thing missing is the smell of oil and aviation fuel.

Great render and modeling. I'd wish the next gen flight sims could look that way. Oleg Maddox' forthcoming "Storm of War" perhaps ?

they made tens of thousands, altogether. Just want to say thanks for all the models (and pilots!) you've made over the years, too.

She's lovely Anders, texture and render are superb. It's an unusual colour scheme for a 109E, but it works really well.
