Description
A non-electronic robot, named for Babbage and based on his Difference Engine, Babette has met up with our explorers and offered to lead them out of the corridors back to safety - where, they hope, they will find their ship may actually have managed to repair itself.
(There's something about her that makes me think she'd be a suitable character to include in a "Doctor Who" story ...)
