AUTUNM REQUIEM
October is dying dirge of once green leaves
Accompanied by sad oboe serenades
Of souls remembering when life was young.
Our one and only joy? The choral chant
Of plaintive trumpet faith that somewhere there’s
A resurrection we believe called spring.

Oh Yeah you are good. I wondered where you were going. I began smiling just before the last few words. I am still tickled. Probably that is my brain of course it is. But you made it do that. What brought me back is the title, Autumn. So then all is right. Quite impressive and wonderful!
