Description

Shortly after World War II, Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal sent a naval task force of 40 ships to Antarctic as well as Admiral Nimitz, Admiral Krusen and Admiral Byrd. Code named "Operation Highjump" my Grandfather a Captain was also among several hundred other Army Corp Engineers included in the expedition for "surveying" and to build infrastructure for "Little America". Although not much is known about "Operation Highjump" and my Grandfather hardly discussed what the Antarctic Service Medal he received was for. Much of what he did remained a mystery other then he went to the South Pole to do his duty. Shortly After his death I received a letter and a key to a storage unit. The Letter had told me the whole story from UFO's, Secret Nazi Bases to Ancient Atlantean Monuments and what the contents of the crate I now own were. Inside I found a very old parchment with strange writing and what appeared to be instructions on how to operate the "Artifact". In the letter he said it took him 20 years just to learn how to flip the globe over to make it look like modern maps (he thought it odd to have the some what Antarctica shaped continent in the middle). He also figured out that it was a sort of compass and a key of sorts but one that "Levitates', glows when pointing to true north and cannot be pulled apart from its base! The "Artifact" when turned correctly initiates a start up sequence for a stargate, where Operation Highjump gets its name...A HIGH JUMP to another solar system. Although I was never told I couldn't talk about it I decided to render the "Artifact" and the parchment as in the Letter there was a stipulation that it never be photographed! The spectacles are my Grandfathers (they don't levitate) and the pencil is mine as I continue to carry on my Grandfathers work!
