Wow, this looks almost like a photograph! Not much needs to be adjusted on this one...Perhaps you might want to add some dust to the air. That places doesn't look very clean so dirty air would really add to that. I agree with Jordanholmes and chachi...the level of detail in this image is crazy...you must have spent some serious time working on this. Well done! +++++

Thanks:) Well, this image is a blend of a photographed background and a 3d foreground.the floor infront and all objects werde done as 3d-modells.The dof-effekt is that of the camera-lens i used for the background. Later i just adjusted the rendered part to get a full blend. The lighting was done by a hdri-dome and one main-lightsource. 3 spots were added to achieve special effects on some parts of the objects. To get the fuzzyness of the piece of cloth i used hair. Spd was used at some textures to get more "depth". Normal bumbs are sometimes too limited for a satisfying result. As you might remember my image called "Detail", you`ll see that the background locations are very similar. It is the same hallway from a different point of view ;)Sometimes i used this room for bigger sculptures and i walk through it every day in order to enter my studio:)

Amazing work. You should submit this to MAXON for them to feature on their site. I'd be surprised if they didn't display it. Fantastic textures/lighting.

This is one of the few images I've seen where DOF is correctly used, and to great effect. You've really got the dried and splattered paint down perfectly, but what really stands out is the shader you used on that roll of tape! Ok.. the dirty jar is pretty darned impressive, too. ;)

WHOA!! From modelling and texturing to lighting - and the DOF is just right and not overdone. You could EASILY mistake that for a photo - incredibly well done!

Great to see again! And back in the best form:) BTW, why is the terpentin an "Ersatz"? In the times of Socialism, we had a lot of "ersatzes", but today in Germany...??;)
