Description

Giuseppe Arcimboldo: Italian painter (Milano, 1527 - 1593). He was court painter in Praga, for emperor Ferdinando I, Massimiliano II and Rodolfo II. He created various caricatures and allegories, that can be viewed at Vienna museum and at Johanneum of Gratz; clever artist, his imaginative and bizarre inventions seem to precede some trend of modern surrealism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Created in UF3 (no postwork) 483 layers was needed!!! It was an huge work, for me, but the time spent for this finally paid off. Dedicate to all formula writers and fractal community, that make this immage possible. Daniele PS. I want to say thanks to my dear PIII 1000, that has endured this work, and has crashed 'only' a couple of times, during this work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Credits: Formulas: Trap Viewer by me (dan.ufm) Julia by Frederik Slijkerman (Standard.ufm) Mandelbrot by Frederik Slijkerman (Standard.ufm) Fractotum 1 by Tobu Marshall (tma2.ufm) Pixel (2 Iterations) by Samuel Monnier (sam.ufm) gfpeul06 by Gedeon Peteri (gfp.ufm) Rotated Julia by Kerry Mitchell (lkm3.ufm) tdss2 by Davka (dav.ufm) Sewall D by Joey Faehnle (jrf.ufm) njuntn-j by unknown (Test.frm) Transformations: Clone by me (dan.uxf) Distorsion by me (dan.uxf) Mirror by Damien M. FANTASTIC WORK. I'm quite "open mouth". Neither imagined that was possible to do such a masterpiece with the use of a technicall parade of instruments...Probably is a little easier to send a rocket on Mars or Saturn...!!! INCREDIBLE IMAGE --ULTRACOMPLIMENTS--One image to remember that I put into my preferites..!!!!

Hi Daniele, that beats everything. I never saw this before. So realistic all; so well done. And yes, Giuseppe Arcimboldo is well known. We have some posters from his paintings. This one was painted in 1573 and the title is: L'estate (summer). Tonight I try to open the UPR. Of course you're getting the vote from us. Marleen and Jos.

I think I can say with confedence that you have taken UF farther than anyone ever has. It's a masterful piece, especially with every element being your creation.

Absolutely incredible, Daniele! I'm with Keith - this is "state of the art" Ultrafractal work. An excellent fractal reproduction of Arcimboldo in all details. I think 438 layers is a record for UF - I think Maria has done around 250. I can't imagine the dogged perseverence and heart this must have taken to do on a P111. Outstanding composition using all fractals and fractal textures!

An extraordinary piece of work, Daniele. If anything fractal is deserving of being called a masterpiece, this is. You are a pioneer and an Artist. My sincere congratulations.

It's so wonderful to see you posting again - and I'm with Keith and Rick on this one, Daniele - you've taken UF far beyond anything I've ever seen! The results are magnificent, and if ever a fractal deserves to be called a "masterpiece" it is this one! Bravo!!!
