Description

2D Forum April Theme: Flowers A first attempt at something for the April Theme... it's very integrated with what I "normally" do, I know, but seems to work reasonably well. Created in three intensive sessions between 5th and 9th April. Rose sourced from the Stock.XCHNG. Thank you for viewing and your feedback/critique is always appreciated :-)

Very surreal indeed & something that I'm going to have to look at for a while as it's sending my imagination off at all sorts of tangents, I just love the way your images do that! Fascinating abstracted form as ever & beautiful use of colour & tone. Excellent, thought provoking image for the theme Jim ; )

One of my favs from you Jim, surreal and very inspiring. Your abstraction and blending with the rose is excellent! Really a trigger for imagination and a great theme image!

I agree totally with Cassie: Hell you are clever! :-) Brilliant work; inspiring, fascinating, sensual.... and lots of thoughts are just running into my head - mainly thoughts without words. Just admiring, and feeling soooo good! :-D

A good bit more objective than what I am used to seeing from you. It seems to me that the body should either be less synapsed up or the head should be more so. The unaltered rose would probably go best with a less retouched body.
