Here comes the solution to my previous post. Several of you got very close, having been in hospitals. This is a medical diagnostic ultra-sound machine. The left half of the photo shows the machine from its right side, and the right half of the photo shows the back side of the instrument. There are several connections for video and sound together with the cable for ultra-sound generation and interpretation in the back. Also the electric cable to the wall.
The slanting front panel has touch screen control of the apparatus.
The large slanting box above is the video window showing what the machine is picking up (fractures, arthritis problems, problems in the circulatory system, tumors, spinal problems and so on).
This machine is HEAVY, near 250 pounds! That's because it is an old model from the 1980s. Today they are a wee bit larger than a lap-top! I'm glad it's gone - I now have a square meter more to my living room! And the naprapathy clinic is happy to have received the machine.
No cursing - the 2 moving men were BIG and STRONG. And fantastic lifting technique, as if they were carrying an obese wheelchair bound patient.
Summer is having a GRAND time at Rods place with the TNA girls. Man, does she look good in the calendar - even has clothing that fits her! I wonder if she'll come "home", or stay with the TNA gang! I wonder what T.Rex would say about that (ever see a T.Rex cry? Oh, yes you have! Ol' T.Rex has cried in my gallery a few times - anyone care to count?)
Have a great weekend!

a doctor I have been using since the late 80's had an ancient EKG machine and after moving 2 times he was still using it. the last time I went he actually had a new one, but it was not accurate also. showed the same results as the old one. he sent me to a heart specialist and I had stress tests there. the heart doctor said there was nothing wrong with my heart which relieved me!
when I worked in a hospital there were no modern equipment like now
The surgeon that did my hernia and gallbladder has one of the new ones in his office... He showed me how it worked, and placed the transducer against my groin where the hernia was so I could see where it used to be. Quite interesting, actually!
Yeah, Summer's having the time of her life. The Girls have her all fired up to do a pinup shoot, so look for those soon... Sam took her for a bouncy train ride - as you know... LOL Bouncy indeed... I shoulda had one of my drones capturing video!
