Description

It may happen that, for years you ran away for something (consciously or not). But then, suddenly, everything gets you back. ("boom"!) It overwhelms you, and you are hauled back. Marking time. And then ........, the surprises can be very unpleasant. Now, see here, this figure in white, it continues to run away, hence in white. This fractal is made with Fractal Explorer. Dear friends, thank you very much for your encouraging comments, I'm very thankfully for that.

I like the way the white figure stands out against that beautiful blue-green background. It has such a clean, crisp feeling, and shows off the runners path. Wonderful work!

Gazongas! (That's not a word, it's just a way of saying "Eureka!" Or "Holy cow!") I love this! I see the running creature you allude to in your description, but I also see amazing foam patterns arising from an ocean, or wonderful energy lines dancing over a complex land mass. You created a bas relief feeling here---one has to zoom to see all the detail---and the whole piece feels carved as much as digitally painted. It's all etched into a very receptive surface...And I love the muted blues and greens in back, and your increasingly saturated grays in front. And of course the dancing soap suds, dancing across the surface of a wave, throwing out rays to the sky. This is wondrous, Mies. You never cease to make fractals that are utterly fresh and surprising!

I love this on every level, and of course you explain it so well. But it is a wonderfully satisfying abstract too. Exciting!

Very alarming and heart-stopping view of the past here Mies.

I see a ghost hung up, and scared in the tangled mess.

Well worded and perfect interpretation in this visual.
