A gorgeous photo. I always seem to scare these guys off long before I get within decent camera range. Great job here and I agree that Klaus is a special friend to many here on RR. Always upbeat, up-front and full of advise.

Blushing 4 Well thanks! And delivering that with an Egret, that I can't get in the states! Bravo. He looks almost identical to the great Blue Heron. Only difference are additional reddish color streaks at the neck area and the onset of the wings. Love the thick green grass he's standing in. So thank's again - you're too kind!

Hallo Michel, its a very nice dedi for Klaus and well deserved, but it brings back a momory concerning an empty pool in my garden .......... all goldfishes, 25 usd, due to that stupid ...... grey heron. Have a nice evening Henk
