Description
Late at night, and drops of rain fall down
as they end, with a splashing sound
silence falls, as I stand here alone
it is time, for me to go back home
But something draws me to this place
to stay here standing face to face
with darkness, though light enough to see
that this is not what is covering me
It's not the darkness, and it's not the rain
that causes me to feel this pain
It's the lonelyness inside my heart
and I can not longer deny this part
I need someone to hold me tight
as It's getting cold in the night
Who is there to answer my cry
I wish I could fly into the sky
Never turn my face around
Never look back unto the ground
Never wave with my hand goodbye
But all I have, is this question: Why?

Great poem. We need each other. We sometimes still feel empty or regret how we reach out. Great capture of the inner hole that often doesn't get filled.
