Plop plop, whizz whizz . . . . oh, what a relief it is ! ! ! !
Reminds me of my younger days when visiting my relatives in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. and making that morning walk to the "outhouse!" Just be sure to tap the outside walls before entering, in case there's a snake curled up inside. I'm afraid you'll be stuck in there with the spiders. But, they will leave you alone, as long as you leave THEM alone. Just be sure you don't let any bees or wasps sneak in behind you ! ! ! Talk about your rude awakenings ! ! ! (And, most importantly . . . . be sure to bring a roll of TP or else you'll be stuck using corn cobs or wadded up newspaper !!!)

Too Funny! I've had experience with those quaint little houses and lived to tell the tale. The height of luxury is a three-holer with an actual toiler paper roll. Now that is living high on the hog.

I had plenty of experience with out houses. I dug the holes and my older brother would get some friends and they would move it. the best thing I recall about the experience is each hole I dug, I never dug in an old one!

Cool image my friend, I remember living in Australia when I was young and we had an outside loo...My mum and dad stood outside waiting for me one night and I heard my dad say bloody hell marina (My Mother) that's a big boy and my mum shouting kill it Sandy (My Father) so he got a big plank of wood and smacked it into oblivion which caused it to rain spiders down on me.. I ran out there so fast with my knickers around my ankles lol I never got over it.
