Description

002 H A digital multiple exposure of the Fashion Mart in Los Angeles downtown fashion district on a weekend. This narrow street is packed with shoppers searching for a deal and there is also plenty of counterfeit brand name merchandise, anyone walking around with a camera, especially a 'gringo' is suspect. So in order to take any photographs the camera was hung at waist level, with the distance and exposure pre-set. Both photographs where taken in Los Angeles, California, USA, back in August of 2005. The concept idea is to create behind this multiple exposure is an admission ticket design for a gallery exhibit. This is the second image in a series of three.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and commenting. Vielen danke das sie die Zeit genommen haben meine Arbeit zu betrachten und darauf zu Kommentieren. Egmont

Another interesting exploration of multiple exposure. Gives it a frenetic feeling, very energetic.

You know, these street scenes are so creative and excellent, but scaring for a hermit like me :-) Lead my thoughts back to my visit to San Francisco. I loved it, being a little piece of the crowd, but to much hustle and bustle in the long run. Despite that I really love these!

Anyway, I would darken the wording a bit. Otherwise, a striking result.

This is a neat concept, but an effective image. Sounds like it was dangerous work.
