Yes, it is real. She is only 2 or 3 days old here. Even at this age, she would stomp her feet if she did not get her way. In our state, we are to euthanize any skunk on the spot, no matter the age or condition. This law was made 25 or more years ago by some very stupid people. As I have said before, I do not kill healthy animals for any reason. Anyway, she has way TOO much cute going on!
There is a wonderful person that has made it his life's mission to find out just how intelligent animals are. About their feeling and how they make decisions. His name is JOE HUTTO. I strongly encourage all to watch some of his work. I promise you will never think the same about an animal again.

Cute little bugger.... and what a delightful photo of this critter. What kind of brainless idiots came up with a "law" like that? It's epic stupidity like that that has caused so many species to become extinct. Whatever group of morons came up with that idiotic policy are the ones that need to be euthanized, or at least sterilized so they can't pass on their defective DNA. Idiots!
What a beautiful baby. Animals are not mindless , they feel and they love and they want to be loved or left alone or be with someone .... it depends on the Animals if they are wild, domesticated , used to humans or not... I am so happy that this little one found you:)
Tears in my eyes, Bev! Little stinker? Has she sprayed you? Or you're just alluding to what can happen if you don't tend to her foot stomping. I assume the foot stomping is to get moms attention. What happened to her mom? Is mom hiding in your back yard? If I didn't have Kitty, I'd be glad for little stinker, but not unless she can go in and out freely as at your place! Thanks for Joe Hutto's name. I'll look him up on Amazon.com as soon as I'm off Renderosity! More photos of little stinker as she grows up (pretty please). :-)
