Description

'But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?' Okay, I am not sure if quoting Shakespeare at someone you are trying to woo impresses them all that much these days but you have to admit, Sonnet would make a gorgeous Juliet. If you agree than you will want to check her out in Pixeluna's store here at Renderosity. Jenny did an amazing job sculpting the head and body morph and getting the textures to pop so that Sonnet will look super great and lifelike in your renders. I hope you will give our new lady a look and perhaps create a visual sonnet or two of your own with Sonnet. Thanks for looking! Also thank you so much to everyone who took time to view my last post and also a extra big thanks to those who commented. It is never necessary to feel you need to comment but it is of course welcomed and rewarding to find that others enjoy my humble efforts. I have never considered myself an artist per se, that distinction I leave to Pixeluna who is truly talented in that regard. I am just a technician working behind the scenes and what I love doing and do best would not make for a very interesting bit of art work, unless you are just really into seeing things get weight mapped or bones adjusted or all that other stuff that is needed when rigging a character, clothing, or prop. If over the years my renders have improved it is because I have had so many good examples from people like you who post your beautiful art work here and give me inspiration and ideas on what I can also do to make mine a little better. So thank you all very much for that. Being part of a community like this is very much a sharing and learning experience, or at least can and should be, if approached with the right mind set. No matter where you are on that journey, your work is catching the eye of someone and making an impression. Strive to do your best and make it a good lasting impression. I can remember when I started, feet floated above the ground, and shadows were often missing or coming from the wrong direction. Hopefully I have gotten a bit better to avoid some of that now. Thanks again for looking. Have a super great weekend and coming week! Rob

It's funny, I was thinking of a similar title...I'll have to find something else ! This image is superb and so is Sonnet. About your work, you're too modest, I know how precious it is.

She's beautiful and the pose is elegant but I hope she doesn't fall. Your work is always wonderful to see. I think we all started with floating people and misguided shadows. :) Everything in this scene is perfect!

I could attempt to sing a sonnet to Sonnet, but the poor girl would likely end up running away screaming and covering her ears! So, instead, I'll just give her a nice place to visit, and enhance with her beauty. Maybe even add her to the team... 😉

And I would argue the point about not being an artist, Rob.. To do what you do with rigging and all the other technical parts of character creation... I'd say it requires an artists' hand. And possibly just a little bit of dark magick... You can't fool me... I've seen that book you keep in the desk drawer... 😂

Aside from that, you've demonstrated your artistic skills beautifully here, bro! This is outstanding!

I would agree with Rod, you do have an artistic skill. You actually have both, an eye for technical stuff as well as beauty in art. This is just one of the examples that stand out--- how you posed her, the camera angle and the render itself. Fantastic work, through and through!
