Description

On my road trip in early October I was amazingly lucky with the weather. Except for a little rain on the first day I had clear blue skies and sunny days. This shot from Tahoe City on the north side of the lake demonstrates that perfectly. We're looking south towards Heavenly Valley ski resort and the City of South Lake Tahoe - which is a micro-Las Vegas with a scattering of resort hotels and casinos. Enjoy

terrific capture. when I was here, there was smoke from a forest fire obscuring the lake except for the north and west side

I past this way maybe one year ago across the highway that goes directly to Reno, except I had left Reno on the way to Northern California and Oregon . I did not see any casinos the last time I past Tahoe City, but it has been a long time
