Ar bought a nice '58 Impala which she's fully restored (and don't ask me when she had time to do that in between adventures... This girl has talent!). She and the other T.N.A. Girls are taking a short break between chapters, so she, Kinnie, G4, and Ella decided to take a few days and see the sights. I have no idea what they are listening to, but it must be good (I can tell you for a fact it ain't that rap garbage..).
In the meantime - while they're having fun - I'm slaving away over a hot keyboard, digging through all kinds of props, obj files, 3ds files, checking out tutorials for things like the new Photoshop features, and getting ready to bend my mind (what's left of it) with Blender..
I picked up that '58 Impala from Rpublishing a week or so ago. I decided to give it a blue paint job (Ar loves blue) using Bagginsbill's car paint shaders. The background photo is from our trip to Washington back in September.
Thanks for dropping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support! 👍👍 Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I hear Bob Seger's "Feel Like a Number", which I feel is one of best road trip songs ever, but that's just me... of course I'm slaving away at the keyboard trying to catch up on the narratives for my current series before my muse take another road trip of her own while listening to what Xfinity calls "classic rock" and wondering when the music of "my generation" got labeled "classic"!
A few years ago I traveled around in the western states of the US. When I came to a crossroads where the crossing road was named „Telegraph road“ it was clear what music had to be played then (beside that Dire Straits is phantastic music to drive around anyway)! Awesome render, Rod!
I'm thinking they might break this ride in with 'Born to be Wild' by Steppenwolf! Maybe? Anyway, just a thought. Beautiful rendition of the '58. You and the girls did a magnificent job with it! Most excellent work from any angle, Rod! Many many fine kudos!!!!!!
What a beautiful put together, Big Bro! For some reason, what's ringing on my head right now are these lyrics, "Well, I'm not braggin' babe so don't put me down. But I've got the fastest set of wheels in town. When something comes up to me he don't even try cause if I had a set of wings man I know she could fly. She's my little deuce coupe, you don't know what I got." LOL, one of my favorites, The Beach Boys. And the girls looked so happy, swingin' and swayin' and livin' and lovin' this wonderful drivin' life. Thank you for sharing your fantastic work with us!
I can see why the girls are so happy... they're heading over to your place to take you for a ride in their shiny new car. I'm pretty sure they're listening to Eagles' Boys of Summer.
Outstanding work, Rod! Nice wheels and your girls look fantastic... I love it!
