I could drop the usual snarky, detailed explanation here, but I won’t. But it’s been harder to produce a likeness of my friend than I imagined. I might just start over on her.

Even if you didn't quite get a perfect match, there's no reason to toss this away. Aside from the bending of the right knee (and probably tweak the pose of the foot) and a couple minor details with the car, I find nothing else at fault here, and at first glance, this looked a lot like a photo.

Spendlove and this character are both based on my friend. Basically Spendlove is my friend without glasses, and this one is based more closely on her. Still doesn't do her justice, though.

you've done an excellent job with your morph. i mean, i haven't seen your friend, but she's remarkably realistic. not that i'd mistake her for a photo, but she's obviously an artistic rendition of a real person instead of just your average CG doll. which is more than i can say for a lot of professional work. i'm absolutely amazed at what you've done with her lips. i'm always trying to get Vicky's lips to have a size and shape like that, and not succeeding very well.
