I zoomed in close to look at the beast guarding the doorway and kinda wish I hadn't! :-) Great creepy scene! Love the "horseman" in frilly sleeves and the pug waving at the beastie thing!

That creature is Summoner's "alpha decarabia", and it is disturbing indeed.
