Description

Hello, In my absence I have managed to get some really great shots. Since starting to grow the milk weed on purpose we have more butterflies, dragonflies, and other creatures come back to our garden each year. I have added a butterfly bush, foxglove,sea hollies and a hummingbird feeder to the mix. I haven't been able to catch the hummers with my camera yet. I am trying, but the monarchs have no problem with me being in their presents. They even land on me!We have had 5 this year. Lots of egg laying too, so I am hoping we have even more next year. This one let me take all the shots I wanted. She even seemed to wait for me to catch up as she moved through the garden. I need to get into the galleries while I am back. Hopefully I will be able to soon. See you soon, I am starting to stalk the galleries. Missed you tons, Cheri

Fabulous POV, focus, clarity, color and lighting in this macro of the Monarch, Cheri. You're so lucky to have all those colorful insects to photograph. And with the butterflies laying eggs, I assume caterpillars would be the result.
