Description

I saw him in Venice, California; he was starting to draw on the street with chalk, he made a quick drawing of me shooting video on his pad, I took a photo of him. Great guy very sharp. I continue with this style of post that I have done in another photos before. C&C welcome. Thanks for looking.

WOW! I love this! It's timeless in a sense. You took a photo of him as he drew a sketch of you, and all of that indicates that this is a modern photograph: exquisitely well done...and yet your treatment of the subject gives this a very timeless quality. This could be some ancient artist in some far away land. The details are astonishingly crisp, but what I love the most is the whole mood of this piece. What a marvelous capture of raw humanity. This is excellent!

I agree with Chip, there is a timeless feeling to this. I love it that he was capturing you as you were capturing him, each in his own medium. Best of all is the incredible details to the contrasting textures. What a fascinating portrait!
