Very complex and subtle, Barb, the couple is our center focus, but they're off to one side, and encased in shadow (the mystery of love), while the brightest element is that big lantern, which would dominate if it weren't for the two lovers to its side. I really like how you composed this. And the wall around the lamp has wonderful sculpted leaves (they're almost like coffee beans!), and you have music running through the piece, and the right side---with the lovers---has darkness all around the leaves...and the lovers are so fascinatingly dressed, with their hands joining above her head---a definite dance pose (ala your title), as if they're in the middle of a ballet or some kind of ballroom performance. You captured the dance in a very intimate, compact way...Love the expression on both of their faces: an intense, very personal moment which we're merely peeking into. A really fine portrait: You used every element masterfully here. (And I love the lizard/salamander/whatever it is on the lantern...)
