Well, I’m quite happy to do the basic shopping for her - but two dozen?
So I said no, I’ll buy the items you really need for this week - after all, how many bottoms has one human got?
I looked in the pantry and the fridge and then went out and bought sufficient groceries for the week ahead. I couldn’t get her usual six tins of beans because customers are limited to two each; she of course thought I should have gone back twice more and got them that way, but I said no, that isn’t fair. And she had to settle for just two bottles of her favourite sherry.
To be really fair I think the Government should bring in rationing, maybe ration books, or ID checks and so on. So many of our humans here seem totally incapable of following simple instructions.
The way some of them behave makes me think that a really nasty virus wouldn’t take long to wipe them all out.
Maybe I should go back and get her a couple more bottles of sherry?
