Description

I feel I owe you all an apology. I have again fallen behind on commenting on your wonderful art. And I’m so far behind where I had intended to be with the T.N.A. story. I had fully intended to be into Chapter 7 by this time. Lately my time has mostly been devoted to ducking the continuous bucketloads of s##t real life has been hurling my way and cleaning up the mess left from the ones that don’t miss – which is most of them these days. And yet, I feel like a whining wuss when I say that because so many folks have it so much worse. Over the last couple months, we’ve had to deal with major expenses with the house, constant storms, and illness. I no sooner got over the flu, then Jo got hit with a bout of pneumonia. Over the last 3 days, she’s been dealing with a severe episode of vertigo. (Immortalized by the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name, "vertigo" is a frequently misused term. Many people mistakenly say "vertigo" when they mean fear of heights or simple dizziness. In medical circles, though, vertigo refers specifically to a false sensation of movement). We’re both feeling better, but we’re also pretty exhausted from dealing with all this crap. My creativity has been kicked in the butt for the most part, but I’m slowly beginning to feel like getting back to the story. And it WILL continue.. It’s just a bit behind schedule. Hang in there with me my friends. You and Jo are what help me keep my head above water. I’ll be working on getting caught up on commenting, but it will likely take a couple days or so. Thank you for “listening.” And thank you for your wonderful friendships. You rock! Thanks so much for dropping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support! Facebook Twitter Girls From T.N.A. Seems like you and Jo could use a little tropical beach vacation right now--especially if you could teleport there! But you can go here: https://explore.org/livecams/hawaii/hawaii-waimea-bay-cam Surf is big today!

There is nothing to forgive, Rod. When life comes at you sideways you do what you have to do to survive. Sweet render by the way!

It's a bit unfair that G4 and Arawen gets to go on holiday before you and Jo can, Rod. Hopefully all the s###storms are behind you both. Keep the faith, my friend.

So sorry to hear of all you troubles! I pray they end soon and that your life can resume a more 'normal' pattern! Beautiful girls on a stellar beach setting! Wonderful art, Rod! Bet you would join your babes in a heart beat if possible!

Love your image, Rod...those lucky little cuties look like they're having a great time :)

Like they say, when it rains, it pours...don't be so hard on yourself...slow down and just relax, learn how to pace yourself...glad you and Jo are feeling better health wise...I get vertigo when I'm in a very tall building...it's horrible so I can sympathize...as for commenting on gallery images--if someone has more than one image, just comment on the one you like best...no need to stress over gallery comments :). So take a deep breath, close your eyes and enjoy some of your favorite music. Tomorrow is another day.

The girls look like they are enjoying that bright, sunny beach. Wonderful trees, sand and water... man, I miss having days off.

Please don't stress over not getting to the galleries. I never expect people to comment on everything I post. Take care of your life, first.

being retired is not all it is cracked up to be, but it beats holding down a 7am to 4 pm. both the ladies are so foxy and I would enjoy being on the beach with them. surely something will come up to take your mind off your current issues. it always happens to me

Hang in there "Big" guy! Life doesn't get any easier, it's just more of the same! I try not to comment on all your postings because I know you have limited time for reading this stuff, but I just want to let you know that your comments are always welcome on my postings because they are a source of humor for me (LOL). I'll keep a candle burning for you and Jo. 😁

Thank you for being a friend Rod. A day at the beach is a great getaway for a vacation. I'll never have the cash to do such like them. No worries at all my friend if you can't do comments, you have far more important issues to deal with. That weather is just tearing up your area and other states. Tornados are getting worse it seems like. Heavier rain and so on. Don't stress on complaing Rod, you have every reason to. Crap you've been through alot you and Jo. My dear mother has been having dizzy spells over the last month or so. Taking her to yet another doctors visit on the 6th. Happy to know both of you are feeling better. but i bet its difficult with that house being a PITA. Keeping you in prayers bro.

Gals look marvelous my friend. And thank you for your service if you served.

It sounds like you and Jo have really been going through a lot. I'm glad to hear that you're both feeling better. Don't worry about the comments; what you're dealing with in real life is much more important. This is a fantastic picture, too! The girls really look lovely.

I wish I could grant the beach holiday that is depicted in that image — combined with an end to the woes. Instead I must content myself with wishing you well coping with the disasters life has thrown at you, and a further wish for it to stop. I could be happier too at the moment and following those two along the beach has a definite appeal...

The destination doesn't matter, Rod. It's the journey, with all its twists and turns, that matters. And it is in the twists and turns that we discover what kind of a human being we are.

Nice rendering of the girlies on the beach. And sorry about your situation. Being as old as I am, which is really old, I've had my bouts with pneumonia, influenza, and I sometimes get vertigo simply from getting out of bed in an awkward manner. Like a spinning roulette table in Las Vegas, or being in a boat during a storm. Lasts about a day or so. Hopefully things will work out for you and Jo.

Your house was floating away, I'm pretty sure that takes priority. Now row your house back to where it belongs and don't worry about comments.
