It's been a long time coming - far too long.... But at last this latest s##t-storm is beginning to calm down a bit. I hope. We had a follow-up appointment with our family MD today. He gave Jo a good going-over, listened to her lungs, and said everything was looking good. She's feeling better every day, but it's going to take a little while before she's back to 100%. Walking pneumonia knocks you down, especially for folks in our age bracket.
Anyway, here's the latest page in the Girls' adventures. Only a few more pages to go in Chapter 6. then a short "intermission," and on to Chapter 7! If you're wondering about the bombing Tina mentioned, here's a link to Steve's "Operation Domino" page that shows what happened:
No spoilers, but someone will regret sending that package...
I'm not going to type my usual lengthy epistle tonight - lots of catching up to do! I'll be picking up on your galleries tonight, but will probably take a day or two to get to everyone.
Thank you all so much for all your kind words and well-wishes for both Jo and me as the last few weeks have been a real PITA! You all rock!
Thanks for stopping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support!

So happy to see you back "in the saddle" again and that the medical report for Jo looks good.
A very enjoyable installment...and of course the good news about Becca. Each frame is so well done--girls look fantastic and their poses are excellent depicting all the gals' interactions..
How's your backyard doing?
Good news about Becca. Now to find out who sent the package... The girls on the yacht look great, best of luck to them as they navigate that huge ship. The details in your scenes always amaze me; the instruments and gauges on the walls are fantastic.
It's good to hear your Jo is feeling better!
First of all I hope dear Jo is doing better my friend. Yeah at our ages things seem to pile on. I know I've had several in s few years. Makes me wonder what's next?
Love the way you used two different stories on this page, I now have the info to maybe get my butt working on operation domino. I had made two images with Tina and G4, G4 was telling her on the phone what had happened. I'll need to change that since she's in NY. Or she flew to NY that same day.
I like how you helped me with the idea of the bomb that went off. Not sure if I was going to write of Rebecca / Becca or not. I was thinking about Tina opening a branch in Beijing where Becca would work with someone. But the director would have to approve such a new office. Great work on her "Becca" looking all banged up. I don't have hospital props to have done a scene like this. Thank you.
I wonder what you have in store for us with their cruise thought the Panama Canal, bet it will be exciting like all pages you've created Rod.
Will be looking forward to the next page. Not sure if I'll have mine ready before your next installment. Great job on this bro. Hope the best for you and Jo.
my wrist forbids me to write a long comment on your art, but I wanted to tell you how happy I am---and relieved---that Jo came through the worst of it, and is healing now. I know people who've had w.pneumonia, and yeah, they took it easy for a while to get back their strength. But she's past the heavy part, and that's what's important: I'm very happy for you both. You both must be exhausted...Re your upload, in a week or two I'll redo this comment, but for now, I love what you did. Love the Becca storyline, and how you ended this in her hospital room in bed. And your usual vivid hues, compositions, details, etc. More soon, but all the best with Jo, and returning to the great fun-and-games of moving (sic). Hope it's smooth from here on out!
Sounds like you guys have finally gotten that "bug" on the run. I wish you two continued improvement. This is a terrible time of the year to be sick (but . . . . . I guess there really isn't any good time) !!!
Great story line and great looking renders, my friend ! ! !
Happy to read that Jo is better and on the road to recovery, which will take some time, that is if my experience is an example. And that's even my having a pneumonia vaccination some years before that. Which should explain that there are more then one type of pneumonia. Great job on the work above.
Glad Jo is through the worst of the pneumonia. Praying for best health for the both of you going forward. The Girls' new cruise ship would make the Pacific Princess from Love Boat look like a tugboat!
And an attack on one Girl is an attack on all the Girls! There will be consequences!
Really happy to hear Jo is doing better. I wish her a full and speedy recovery.
And glad to see the next page Rod :) ! And once again amazing work on the panels ! Going through Panama canal ? That would be interesting. The suspense is building up and really looking forward to the Chapter 7 :) ! I had to click that link to see what had happened to Becca. I think I need to go back to the start and check out the earlier T.N.A. pages. Have been traveling since last week. Will do that once I am back home.
