A somewhat unusual variety, captured 8/15/2009 at the beautiful Huntington Library, Art Collections, & Botanical Gardens in beautiful San Marino, California.

Your light here is cream, and it's beautiful in that near-white sunlight. Plus you brought out a deep yellow in the stamen area, which is equally beautiful. The composition is to our left; and you balance that out by allowing the leaves to dissipate into darkness on the right. A very expressive shot, with beautiful rich cream and yellow hues.
