Nothing special about this image - just a little composite I threw together to let everyone know what's going on...
Basically, I've been in bed for the last 3 days. I haven't been this sick in years, but this one has hit me pretty hard. It's like a combination of sore throat, bad cold, and flu. I'm doing OK, and feeling a bit better, but it's probably going to be a few days before I'm back to full strength. I'll try to catch up with comments then.
I put this together on a website called Photopea.com - it's a web-based app that has much of the capabilities as Photoshop such as layers, blending modes, layer effects and so on. This laptop doesn't have Photoshop on it, so this turned out to be pretty handy. It's free, and will even save files in .psd format. You do get an ad banner on the right side, but it doesn't interfere with the functionality.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to be back in action soon.

Thanks for the tip, it's always handy to have more than one option to get a job done. I'll check it out when I get a chance. Yeah, those bugs can be nasty. It always reminds me how something as small as a virus can seriously interfere with something as large and complex as the human body. Take good care of yourself! Hope you'll be back in shape for Subnatica on Saturday! We have TNA posters to put up in our base and all that :-)
PS: I've had a small issue with my RTX 2080 (cheap adapter got stuck in it and refuses to come out, so nothing major), but Amazon was kind enough to send another one yesterday. So today, I tried TWO RTX 2080 cards in my machine. It kills, quite literally. My retro test scene is done in two and a half minutes. How can I give it back, Rod? I need it 😂
Get well soon!
First off, I luuuuuv this image...love the mix, the wild blend, the surreal use of faces, a Dali clock, the stairs, the spirals faded in, and so on. And your model is like a rock singer, in chrome-dress and heals and wild hair, to tie it all together. Love it. Amazed you did this when you were in bed with several illnesses. Great job, Rod. And with an unfamiliar software too...
I'm really sorry you're ill, and hope you get better soon. (I just posted a 'get well' for you, but don't worry about getting to it till you're better: You don't have to comment, just know people care about you.) You've been through one challenge after the other, and I imagine your body isn't at its best now. Rest as long as you need. I hope you come back fully-refreshed and healed: You give a lot to us, here, and I hope you get it all back when you need it. Get well soon, friend! And kick those bugs halfway into the Pacific where they belong!
She looks Truly Outrageous! (Jem and the Holograms, 80s cartoon that should have gotten far better love in this Hollywood reboot era). Would like to see your rocker gal more!
More importantly, hoping you kick those health bugs where the sun don't shine! The Nurse Brigade have been notified and should be enroute momentarily!
Hi rod, sorry to hear of your illness... It has been going around all over the country - my medical aide was off work for almost 3 weeks with it - so Hope You Get Well Soon!!!
As for the image Love it... I am kinda hooked on all the great images you do and looking forward to those new ones once you are well!!! Take care my friend.
