Description

Not that I really like eucalyptus all that much, they are pretty messy trees! But the leaves and berries have nice color and shapes. Further, I ended up with a line drawing and matching fill, from a digital photo I shot. This image is just exploration with derivatives! From the top left, we have: * lines incised into a stone wall. * lines (outer) and fill (inner) wrapped on a cylindrical bollard. * lines metal lattice over fill (a "light source" material makes it glow) above * lines metal lattice over fill (diffuse channel of a glass material) below * lines metal lattice [hard to see] right ,in corner * lines with KPT vortex tiling used to incise (bumpmap) floor and bird bath. If you check my recent (2D) gallery, you'll find the raw images. Please feel free to do your own playing!

Waaaayyyy too cool. Reminds me of the WIP I'm working on. How did you do such cool patterns on the surfaces? I'd like to do something similar if I can with mine.
