Either way, that she could be halting the hostility in this sea creature with a gesture, or that she has just summoned it and made it heel. The 'push' from her hands, I can feel it and the woman is more able than the creature, who is wildly subordinate to her whim. Unless I'm just absolutely wrong and she is a virgin sacrifice who is glad to be there about to be eaten. I call her motion a push because, look at the monster's mane reacting to her. Criticism: I was tempted to rate you down, just because I think the mane is too straight like a haircut because the alpha layer goes all the way to the edge of the mesh. But the work is solid, very strong, and only the fringes makes me wish for the soft eraser tool.
