Today again a picture from my album "Paths". Water ways among many others also. It is the river Spree in Berlin-Mitte. In the background is the Berlin Cathedral (built 1894-1905) to see. Left the New Marstall (built 1897-1900). On the ground and first Floor of the Spree wing, were stables for 350 horses. The 2nd Upper floor of the castle and Spree wing was built for prestigious exhibitions and storage of carriages and sleighs.

Hi Juli... My Apologies for this copy and paste comment but I have limited mobility and wanted to visit your gallery and this is the easiest way for me to do so. Hope all is well in your part of the globe and your in reasonably good health and by the looks of it your muse is in exceptional form! Miss being here regularly and just wanted to drop by and show you the support you deserve. ~Will~
There are many things to love about this shot: the fades color effect makes it look like an early hand colored photowork giving it a timeless quality, the classic leading lines that converge to infinity draw you deep into the picture uniting both space and time.
