Description

Pilings at our local beach. The tide was pretty far out, and it provided a view I hadn't seen before.

I grew up along the coast, and this is the best time to walk along the beach. Perfect capture. I like seeing everyone's landscape/outside photos. Everyone lives somewhere that has something special.

A fitting scene for the opening of Great Expectations. I love that brick poem in your recent comment: inspired!

A beauty...and maybe something you can use to develope some future 2D piece. Love the moodiness and sense of something pending. What? I haven't the foggiest:)

Very ethereal - I love photos taken in foggy conditions for some reason... This is lovely, Tara!

The fog does give the scene a whole new look. The white patch left of the pilings (water) looks solid in this image so I'm guessing an alien landing site.

The fog provides great atmosphere & the elements are sufficiently abstract that it gives the scene a dreamlike quality (which is always a thing to be admired, as far as I'm concerned)...

Excellent shot auntie. I was saying to honey only the other day, I must get some fog shots. Trouble is though, here in London we only get fog once in a blue moon now, and it is always around 3 or 4 in the morning. Gone now is the famous/infamous London fog :(

Wow, that really is a low tide. And look at all the little hillocks and rivulets, what a beautiful geography you've captured... The fog is just icing on that cake!

Stunning capture of the fog, Tara! Even though it may not be conducive for the best driving conditions, there's something nostalgic about the fog for me... fabulous portrayal!

This is atmospheric in so many ways, symbolically and literally and I love the otherworldly vibe this has. The pilings look a bit like a zipper and I love the silhouettes and the fog adds such a nicely silent feeling to this. Brilliant.
