I have a dog run surrounding my back door where the dogs could go out at night, before I put up my fence, where they would be a bit safer from snakes. About 15 mins ago, I could hear someone messing with the gate. You know, the sound of the metal 'U' closure on a chain link gate? I heard it several times. But I guess the sound of barking pit bulls & a racking shot gun ran them off.
They better hope so for their sake.
I would much rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I agree with you! there is something about the sound of a 12-gauge being pumped that would give any sane person pause. but then again, I do assume that you have some nifty spots that a body could be hidden for a long time...... I wish you the best here on the truly upside - this is a fantastic lady Great work
Whoa, this is like polar opposite to the earlier one. She's gorgeous, Angel! I hope it wasn't anyone poking around, but I'm sure you're prepared if it was. I wouldn't stick around with those dogs and hearing the ka-chunk of a shotgun being prepped to fire!
Stunning image, great lighting and again wonderful colors. I agree, and if they are stupid enough to keep coming after barking pit bulls and a racking shot gun, well, they need to be thinned out. LOL Keep that shot gun and those fur babies close and be safe my friend! I have a Rottie and a semi auto .38 pistol, so I'm hoping his barking,(and 120 lbs) and the sound of me putting one in the chamber will give them pause if the case should ever arise. ;)
Wow. This character in that outfit is extraordinary, regal, gorgeous, super sexy. And OMG. Very glad to hear you were prepared to take care of yourself. Take care of yourself! PS ... Funny too in a not-so-funny situation. I flashed back to the movie "Signs" when you described hearing the metal closure on the gate moving. Reminded me of when the alien couldn't figure out how to open the pantry door. You should get a security camera, Angel. Point it out there. Feed it into the video input on your TV. Good idea to know what's out there before it knows you know, you know?
Seems like home invasion has become way too prevalent these days but I like your response and know from talking to you that you're quite prepared to defend what's your's, as are your canine companions. Hope you have a lock you can throw on that gate to further deter "interested folks". Nice thing about chainlink, it and shotgun pellets work pretty well together. As do the things you've used to create this lovely portrait. I like how you've spotlighted her and the classic colors carried throughout. Very nice.
