Description

Many thanks to the folks who have inquired after me. A number of you sent sitemails with holiday greetings, please accept my apologies for not replying at that time. In early November my wife took seriously ill. In the ensuing weeks, the doctors scrambled to figure out what exactly was wrong and how to treat her. I had moments that scared me beyond words. In mid December they tried a new course of action and she pulled out of danger right around Christmas day - a gift truly beyond measure. She is doing much better now but is still not 100%, so I still won't have much time to work on images or browse your galleries for a month or two. But I wanted to let you know what has been happening - and thank all of you, my Rendo friends, for your concern and support.

I guess the image reflects your mood - good to know things are on the up, take your time, and all the best to you and your wife.

Beautiful image. The pain in his face and slackness in his posture express so well the feeling of helplessness, when all you can do is wait, and the steadfast resolution to be there if needed. All my best to you and your wife. My thoughts are with you.

Glad to hear she is better... it's funny, my circle of friends here are over the 50 year mark for the average age... We were the generation when the video game came out... we all have something in common with the time and age factor... the sad thing is, we constantly hear one or more of use is on the verge of losing their life... I've been feeling "older" lately.... my Wife wanted to go skiing this last weekend and I would have jumped at it in the 9 years we've been together, but something made me tell her we might get hurt and how are we going to make things happen??? It sucks to think about getting old, so just don't think about it or you won't go skiing - lol
