Description

A new one in this ongoing series: The picture shows the Langkofel/Sassolungo from the so called Seiser Alm/Alpe Di Siusi, which is the largest high altitude alpine meadow in Europe. For those who are interested: picture is taken near Hotel Sonne/Hotel Sole, which is very easy accessible via a cabin lift and chairlift from St. Ulrich/Ortisei in Groeden/Val Gardena. From left to right: Langkofel/Sassolungo, the snowy Langkofelscharte/Forcela del Sassolungo, Fuenffingerspitze/Cinque Dita, Grohmannspitze/Punta Grohmann, Innerkofler Turm/Sass Da Mesdi and Plattkofel/Sasso Piatto. (I tried to name the peaks in German/Italian. I'm not totally sure about the Italian names, but maybe some RR-members can help me out.) I hope you like the picture and the info.
