Hi, thanks for the comments and favs on my previous upload! During my time in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia, a group of this beautiful birds came every now and then in the late afternoon. After a couple of sessions i was able to get pretty close :). Hope u like it.

What a beautiful, beautiful shot of a gorgeous bird!! I would LOVE to see these birds in the wild. There used to be a parrot store near us here in New Hampshire and they had a couple of galahs, or as they are called here Rose-breasted cockatoos. They were so very, very sweet and SOFT! I have never felt a bird with such soft feathers. It was almost unreal... And I'm sure in Australia where these birds fly free they would be shocked to know that around here these birds sell for $2500 USD....
