Description

I was prompted by Andrea (durleybeachbum) to upload this one today following her upload yesterday. This is the poisonous 'fly agaric' mushroom or toadstool which seems to prefer growing around birch trees. The white spots are bits and pieces of the membrane which the fungi pushes up through and are not part of the actual thing. One of the prettiest!

Fabulous photo, Jeff! I have to be quick to get shots of our best local group before some p**** kicks them all to blazes. And as Uni has already started I'm probably too late.
