Description

Alright, over the last week this has been my latest project. Been taking a break from the fantasy for a bit. Having some issues with the two dragons I'm working on. Anyways, I've decided I'd like to do a line of classic American muscle cars. And I learned a lot doing the Shelby. I think this car is coming out way better, even though it isn't perfect. There is going to be a hi-res version and a low-res version for distant shots, traffic, etc. Also, the engine, which is the 455 stage 1 will be an additional prop to save on resources if it is not going to be seen in the image. The car as a medium res interior, and a lower res undercarriage, basic chassis, but nothing too fancy. Most of it is mapped, just a couple parts left to map, some textures to make, and the hood mounted tachometer to make yet too. That too will be a prop, as the GS and the plain ol' Skylark I don't believe had that tach. The textures aren't there yet, but I figured I'd post anyway. This is not a finished car yet, but it is close. Also, like the Stallion Adder, there are suspension options for body roll and pitch, as well as camber in and out options. The shifter moves, so does the steering wheel. No morphs as of yet, but like I said, some work to be done still. Next car after this should be the 1968 mustang gt390 fastback (bullitt). Also planning (getting a head of myself here) an AMC Javelin, Charger, Cuda, Camaro, Torino, and possibly others. I'm sure I'll have other projects between most of these, but I think it will be fun. And who doesn't love a good muscle car? Anyways, I leave you with my "Hemi Killer" here. PS I know it says Bruick on the rear end there, and the front says GTX and not GSX. That is for legal reasons of coarse, and I think it's funny :P Cheers, and thanks for lookin' :) Swidhelm

One of the forgotten muscle cars from the 70's didn't get a very fair review back then(which sucked),being stocked with a 455 didn't make for good gas miles though it rivaled it's competition at every green light.Your WIP is solid and detailed to perfection(misspelled name is understandable ,don't want to get caught up in any legalities)I'm a newbie at creating models of trucks and bikes and haven't learned to do cars as of yet and noticed you've done these in Bryce?...some day when you have time could you explain to me how your doing these as I've tried with metaballs and can't get even close and it's eating me up not being able to figure out how some have been able to create cars..I can make all the cosmetic parts but not one single car body as of yet.Any suggestions would be most welcomed.. fellow model builder... -Will-
