It just struck me how much this looks like some agates I've seen.

awesome D!! now that takes me back a bit used hue them from the rocks raw and cut them with a diamond saw and shine them up and use them in hobbycrafts when I was around 16 or 17! my that goes way back I feel like the ancient mariner. It was a time I was glad of something a bit different to be doing then! nice piece D!!!

Gorgeous .. I love the colors, and thought stone .. marble or something, and when you said the agate .. Bingo! I love the lights in this, the veins, and the sense of depth ..
