Description
Whilst trying out a new macro lens, I found myself in the garden having a go with a small snail. There was a very small 13 spot ladybird (ladybug to the Americans out there) on the birdbath too, directly in the path of the snail.
For a few seconds I thought he was about to be run over and possibly meet his sticky end, but all of sudden he was up on top.
Perhaps a little more stopping down would have got all the snail in sharp focus but I'm only just getting into macro stuff :-)
(In shrinking the image I seem to have lost EXIF.

Snails aren't the most exciting of creatures to capture but you got wonderful clarity and a very interesting shot here. Outstanding work.
