I finally got one of those great ships... the Warraok Kitt from Daz. It sure is a neat ship and a great timesaver.:) If I had to model it from scratch it would probably take me a solid week to create.
Hope you like the scene.

This is just excellent! How did you do that breaking ice?! It's amazingly realistic! The lighting is superb, the ice material as well. Magnificent job!

A grim site. Such a circumstance could tear the ship apart and doom all its sailors. Beatifully rendered too.

The breaking ice might "just" be cracked terrains, but the final product looks great!

Jeeeeeeeeeeeez, what a marvelous image! Beautifully balanced, great atmosphere with the low ceiling in the background, and the snow textures are spot on. Gosh this is great!!

What a wonderful and kinda sad picture. Although I would have liked it even better when the ship would've had a bit more color than the surroundings - and perhaps you could add some icicle on the rail and the yards? Otherwise - as always - outstanding work!
