Description

Ok, so I'm havin art history lessons this semester and we have to go 'art bashing' with one of the artworks from the lectures. Now I've never been one of those students that just accepts what the teacher says 'cuz he/she is the teacher, I rather go for the actual facts or, when there are no facts, I'd rather make up my own mind. So when the teacher said that abstract art differed from traditional art by being 2d and flat instead of 3d... I just *had* to disagree! The teacher introduced Pollock's abstracts as iconic works for the abstract art movement, as soon as I saw it I knew it's "flatness" had to be turned 3D for my art bashing entry. I used a few particles and a noise modifier and voila, instant 3d swirly's! The combination of 2 renderengines and some postwork did the rest. Total render time? haha lets just say its way too long... :-P

Fabulous, I love Pollock and I love art bashing and this is as of now my favourite combination of the above. :) I think dear Jackson would appriciate this, if he ever got sober. ;) My compliments!
