Description

Hello dear rendosian friends ! I was glad to have some spare times during this long Eastern week-end and practice some digital painting. I choose one of my old favorite pop singer for the ones who were fortunate to know the '80s (or maybe the unfortunate ones, it depends how you see it ;-) ) I used to like this guy very much and it was a cool experience to draw him like he was in the '80s. Of course, I couldn't help but hearing some of his songs again during my painting.... and painting takes a soooooo looong time. My poor husband had to support my foolishness once again. He didn't become a huge fan of Rick Astley but I think he knows his songs by heart now ! (giggles ) During this painting, I've learned to use some brushes to add some textures and I must admit that it gives a more realistic result . It was a fantastic experience ! Hou ben ! tu devais être dans ton berceau quand il chantait !!! Comme Richardphotos, je n'ai pas reconnu le nom mais dès que j'ai vu le portrait, j'ai su de qui il s'agissait...sacrément ressemblant et sacrément bien fait mais de là à chanter une de ses chansons ???

J'avoue être allé sur internet chercher ce que cette star des années 80 avait chanté, et si je connais ses 'tubes', je ne connaissais pas le visage de son auteur. Ce qui compte, c'est avant tout ton travail de dessin ici, et j'admire tes progrès et ton sens artistique pour capturer l'essentiel d'un visage. Respect ! ...et félicitations, tu es toujours aussi bluffante :-)
