Product Notes

After we posted the video tutorial on how to convert a PZ2 pose to DUF format pose someone stated, "...the part I don't see is why it'd be necessary, if the .pz2 still works just fine." The answer is simple: Yes the original PZ2 works on Aiko 3, but may not be usable on other figures (even though not intended to) as demonstrated in this WMV format video. When the original Aiko 3 Diving Shot in PZ2 format is applied directly to G8F, the result looks like she is floating in space. When the same Aiko 3 pose saved in DUF format first then applied directly to G8F, the result looks like she is diving backwards and shooting at the same time (with only minor adjustments required). The bottom line is that it all comes down to personal preference and needs. Sometimes newer models just don't have the range of poses desired (yet), or perhaps you have a set of awesomely created poses you want to re-use without purchasing new sets for the same look. For both personal and commercial training.

Very nicely put, "recycle assets". We couldn't agree more because sometimes budgets just do not allow for frivolous spending.

Thanks for this.

I agree. I have spent so much money on both Daz and here that was not needed. I know these platforms are meant to provide quality content, but I do not have an endless supply of money. This is why I frequent the " Free " sections on said platforms. I will still purchase from them, but it's nice to be able to recycle assets as well.
