Subject: problems with paypal

The last two times (the last month) that I've bought something from the marketplace the paypal thing glitches and doesn't hook up with paypal. The last time before this I had to go back in the browser and click the pay button more than once.

I just got it to pay from my paypal account. I had to use a text link that says "make payments." It is unclear that is how I pay for stuff with paypal. It used to be a paypal logo/button that would take me to paypal. I'm on a PC Windows 10 and use Firefox. Like I said, this worked fine up until about Christmas.

We never make changes to checkout during the Christmas season. :) Where did you see this "make payments" link?

after the initial clicking on the paypal logo the screen updates to the page that has the download. Payment is pending and stuck in limbo so no download. I go back in the browser to the previous page and there is a large green button now that says something like payment pending or contacting paypal. Above that button is some text that says "make payments with paypal." It isn't obvious that this is a link to paypal but it is and now when I click that text link it takes me to paypal so I can finish the transaction.

Before Christmas clicking on the paypal icon took me to paypal and let me finish the transaction, then took me back to Rendo's download/receipt page.

Hmmm, I don't recall when it changed to a two step method, but I'm quite sure it was long before Christmas.

BTW, if you scroll down that first page where it says download pending, there's a link to make the payment. You don't have to go back a page in your browser, or at least I don't in Firefox.

I think the issue is that when I click on the paypal "pay" icon that SHOULD take me to paypal insead it's taking me directly to the receipt/download page.
