Since you have your own 3d printer to print your own stuff, then I recommend opening an online store on your own website domain and then use social media and Google to advertise the website itself. I don't use Thingyverse, but I think you can charge for some stuff on there if I'm not mistaken? If not, then your own website is a great option. Or go with a service that can print, sell, and ship your objects for you. All you have to do is model them. Having your own printer will save you in percentage fees, so your own store would be best.

How do you do it?
I've had my 3D Printer for a couple years now and in the past 6 months I'v been getting better at designing my own stuff. Certainly not an expert, but I can plan/design projects ok. From those far more seasoned than myself, how are you making money from your skills? I've posted a few things on Thingiverse for free, but the current project I'm working on has taken a bit of time and expense to get it just right. Before giving it away, just thought I'd ask.
