I went to apply kaleya's Sexy Shapes 4 to Victoria 4 in Poser Pro 2014 and this is what I got. I've had this issue before with other items and most of the DAZ3D characters...V4, A4, M4.. Can anybody tell me what do to ? (I've already run DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat)

The simplest answer is to go into the Morph++ on body or head in morph dials ... and reduce the size. Otherwise contact the creator and ask if this issue has occurred before.

Online Now!

I had that happen a lot, and had to re-install the morph packs each time... Nothing else would work.

Yeah, I think that's gonna be a good idea. Usually I just switch (or add) an existing runtime, but looks like I have to create a whole new one.

Not sure whether I really understand the problem because I didn't encounter it to this extreme before, but of course this is character-specific, depending on how the dials are set.

But here's a possible solution.

In V4 there a TWO ways to scale the head:

  • One is to use the SCALE dial
  • But there's another dial in the "Morphforms" section called "Head Size" which also controls the head scale via the "valueOpDeltaAdd" method. If these two add up you'll get the balloon heads!

So always have a look at the head's "scale" values and avoid them adding up. You should be safe when setting the head Scale to 100% with character morphs which use the "Head Size" dial. Otherwise, zero that dial, and set the head scale manually (which I prefer anyway).

There are two ways of scaling the head in poser that i know of for V4. One is there is a dial called head size and the other is to show hidden parameters. Where the parameters properties box is there is a tiny little triangle on it's side just to the right, and if you click on that you can see where to show hidden parameters. then the scaling dials come up and you can rescale the head back to 100% - I hope
