I would like to remove all old file's that pertain to Victoria 4,3,and Mike 4,3 ,also genesis V2 ect. I just don't use them at all,and could use the space on the C:drive.Just old junk to me now.

Online Now!

There are not too many options available to cleanly erase those figures and associated content unless you kept everything in separate content folders. If you created uninstallers from exe files or used DIM to install your files, then you can utilize those to remove figures and content. Otherwise, you would need to manually remove and hunt down all associated files to clean up the drive. Most likely, a 3rd party application will need to be employed to track down all disassociated files left behind after the purge.

Thank You I thought it would come to that.

The Genesis 1 and 2 items would have all been installed with DIM, and it's easy enough to use that to deinstall them. Genesis 1 though is really useful for creatures, as well as being the only generation where all the clothes fit both genders. Also Riversoft has a script now over at DAZ that will convert Genesis 1 clothing to Genesis 8. Anyway, your choice.

V4 and earlier are all over the place, some was under DAZ libraries, but most were in the Poser Libraries under runtime. Getting rid of those would be a pain, but the good news is they didn't take up much space to start with. You can knock out pretty much everything under /runtime/libraries/materials since most of that is not usable under DAZ.
