Subject: Using the Lock Alpha Mask feature.

Could anyone out there provide me with a tutorial on how to use this feature, I've tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to work when trying to use it. How is the mask made? Tooltip mentions painting a decal then turning on the feature and not without losing that shape. I'm at a loss here.

Thank you.

Hello bwldrd,

Sorry, i could not find again the link for the Blacksmith3D tutorial.

Just load your alpha in the image box in the left bottom corner, in the brush box above, turn "use image as stencil", then in brush tile mode, press"v" and adjust size and location (you can also turn "align to view") to help

Take your brush, set the color and paint. Only the transparecy part of your alpha will be applied.

Hope it's enough clear, do not hesitate if a step is missing,

Best regards,
